Only time I would've wanted Brady was 20+ years ago.....I don't care for it now. Not because he's old, but because I think it's a cheap way to win a Super Bowl.

That comparison makes absolutely no sense. The team traded a buttload of picks for an aging RB.

In this case, you have a QB that is two years removed from winning a SB and wouldn't require them to trade a single player or pick to acquire. They already passed on Brady once because they thought they were set with Garoppolo. Now their QB situation looks even more tenuous with the Purdy injury, so perhaps they should learn from history and earlier mistakes.

The next two seasons he threw for 4,600 yards and 40 TD's and then 5,300 yards and 43 TD's and won a SB. I've stopped applying normal football common belief to Brady.

His diva attitude isn't a fit here. It's a fit with a bunch of rookies or maybe a couple star players or passive coach. We have a QB or two. Need to spend on OL not on a relic QB.

If you have "a QB or two" then you don't actually have a QB. You have hope that Lance actually turns out to be what everyone hopes he can be after having played like 20 total games since high school. You have hope that Purdy doesn't need a complete reconstruction of his UCL and that he doesn't suffer any setbacks in the process.

This is a big time YES! I'm not a Brady fan but this would work and I care more about Super Bowl titles than people's ire for Brady. This roster is built to win right now and we are only in need of a Qb to lead it.
