This is very different than what happened in the 2020 offseason, when Tom Brady was very interested in coming to the 49ers but the 49ers weren't as interested. Now he's the perfect immediate fix at QB for the 49ers and ... we shall see what occurs. https://t.co/cFeYQdtkHv

Idk if he and Shannyhan get along, playcalling wise.
Tom wants to run his own offense. Time is just about up on his accuracy tho.

That being said , GET LIKE 9 LEGIT QBS SHANNY. ANYONE OTHER THAN A JOSH JOHNSON TYPE IF YOU LOSE 3 QBS A YEAR.

They have a window to next year's SB. Purdy can't be relied upon due to his physical condition, Lance has to prove he can stay on the field. Lance also has a learning experience of several years at the least. Two huge question marks. Shanahan and Lynch must sort this out so they can focus on the rest of the roster. Brady? He would add some life to the program. Got a feeling if it happens, Gronk will be soon to follow. Kittle and Gronk together, WOW!

Getting some Mcglinchey draft day vibes from Phoenix where he typed Mcglinchey onto this team that day in here lol. I'm now going to prepare for Brady to the 49ers cause of you

With our luck at QB we would sign Brady and he would either get hurt or it would be the year his age catches up and he falls off a cliff. Pass for me
With that logic, there's no reason to keep any QBs on the roster period.
Yeah except "that logic" only applies to one QB in the history of the game to be playing at 46 years old. You must've missed that part of what I wrote unless you think age will catch up to QBs in their 20's?
He's the greatest player in the history of pro football. At 43 he won a SB. At 44 he was ranked first by fellow players in NFL. At 45 he set NFL records. Even if the wheels do fall off, this can still work, look at Peyton's final season they won the SB. Brady would be a coach out on the field. He knows pre and post snap everything that is going on. Think of him checking at LOS based on the look he would be doing that all season to great effect with our KS run game.
I don't think him and Kyle would mesh to be honest. You guys forgetting that Kyle has already passed on him?
I have posted that and feel KS may not be in.. but it shouldn't be his decision he should have zero input. JL is GM. Let him makes the calls. JL respects winners and TB just played in Tampa, where JL is a member of the Ring of Pirates. I am sure they know each other well (JL and TB12).
KS will be fine he's a great coach who put together offenses for 4 QBs this year on the fly. Pretty sure he can cook up some plays for the greatest QB of all time.
You can't be serious. The relationship between the QB and the HC/OC is the most important of the entire team.
I like it when coaches coach.. GMs GM. I suspect a lot of those whiffs at the top of the board are KS pounding the table for 'his guys'. He knows the WR position very well, he was one. RB/QB.. not as much.. and you can see our later round picks tend to be better than the early round KS guys.. just a theory perhaps.

If we hire Tom Brady, we need to shore up the o-line. At his age, he doesn't want to get hit anymore and he will get hit a ton in our offense.

I don't see it. He knows who is coming before the snap every play. He's seen it all. He is a master of ball out at the RBs feet, on to the next play. We would ask him to throw maybe half of what he was in Tampa.. that cuts down the hits, as he's not getting hit on handoffs.

OL will be better as Banks and Burford gain more experience. Much of the trouble this season was due to those two guys getting fooled by stunts and twists they had not seen before. Of course, the biggest question will be what to do at RT if Mc decides to go elsewhere, but that has been discussed adnauseum elsewhere.

I don't expect that the 49ers would have him throw it 60 times in a game. Fewer pass reps alone would cut back on wear and tear.

He would need to throw so much less here, that's the beauty of it. He would be in heaven I'm sure if it. This would be his perfect Swan song.
The perfect storm could bring the Goat home, to where he always wanted to be in the first place where he can ride off into the sunset with 8 or 9 rings and the 49ers become part of history.

It would be Interesting to see how this offense with someone like TB running the show, unfortunately, I don't see the 9ers showing enough Interest to make It happen. That ship has already sailed Imo.
Besides, I think Kyle and Lynch are too emotionally Invested In Lance for them to even consider bringing In a vet like Brady.
My prediction Is that they'll roll with Lance and bring In a vet to be his backup.

I see Lynch as more of the type to be emotionally invested. Kyle is a ruthless. He seems to fall in and out of love with a player at the drop of a hat.
