Brady gets top NFL protection from officials
No cheap shots or late hits will be tolerated
It could work...and if he gets hurt Trey Lance is available
A package of plays also makes sense to get Trey experience and reduce the load on Brady

lol if we get Brady you best believe he isn't getting tapped on the shoulder and subbed off for Trey Lance.. not happening.

With our luck at QB we would sign Brady and he would either get hurt or it would be the year his age catches up and he falls off a cliff. Pass for me
With that logic, there's no reason to keep any QBs on the roster period.
Yeah except "that logic" only applies to one QB in the history of the game to be playing at 46 years old. You must've missed that part of what I wrote unless you think age will catch up to QBs in their 20's?
He's the greatest player in the history of pro football. At 43 he won a SB. At 44 he was ranked first by fellow players in NFL. At 45 he set NFL records. Even if the wheels do fall off, this can still work, look at Peyton's final season they won the SB. Brady would be a coach out on the field. He knows pre and post snap everything that is going on. Think of him checking at LOS based on the look he would be doing that all season to great effect with our KS run game.
I don't think him and Kyle would mesh to be honest. You guys forgetting that Kyle has already passed on him?
I have posted that and feel KS may not be in.. but it shouldn't be his decision he should have zero input. JL is GM. Let him makes the calls. JL respects winners and TB just played in Tampa, where JL is a member of the Ring of Pirates. I am sure they know each other well (JL and TB12).
KS will be fine he's a great coach who put together offenses for 4 QBs this year on the fly. Pretty sure he can cook up some plays for the greatest QB of all time.
You can't be serious. The relationship between the QB and the HC/OC is the most important of the entire team.
I like it when coaches coach.. GMs GM. I suspect a lot of those whiffs at the top of the board are KS pounding the table for 'his guys'. He knows the WR position very well, he was one. RB/QB.. not as much.. and you can see our later round picks tend to be better than the early round KS guys.. just a theory perhaps.
Wouldn't that include Kyle coaching Brady? At least on the playbook and game scripts.
I agree with you on KS whiffing for 'his guys'
unfortunately that includes WR as Pettis was one of those

Yup no doubt. Kyle the GM, I don't know about him. Kyle the coach, he may have a better pulse on the game than anyone on the planet right now. Put Kyle the coach with the GOAT TB12.. and if TB has anything left in the tank, watch the eff out.

Tom wants to run his own offense. Time is just about up on his accuracy tho.
It's exactly what Kyle needs. Someone that can keep Kyle from being Kyle. Kyle wants to be the ultimate control freak. He's the one holding the Madden controller. Brady had the ability to look past the smokescreen and change things up as needed. Can you imagine him in that 2 minute drill vs Dallas ? You think he lets Kyle bring it down to 30 seconds with no play calls ?

You forgot that Jimmy G just took the niners to the Super Bowl. No way you can dump a QB that just did that for your team.

The same people two months later:
"OMG I love McCaffrey!"
Context matters. If Brady was in a great situation in Tampa this past season, with a well schemed offense, a quality run game, quality blocking and a good HC and looked the same, I'd say that maybe he's taken a few steps back and isn't worth it but really the guy was standing in the middle of a burning dumpster fire trying to put it out with a squirter gun.
I don't think he suddenly fell off after two excellent seasons. He's not prime Brady but still good enough with the right roster. I also expect him to be highly motivated considering how the season ended for him and the return of the "but seriously guys, Brady is finished" talk from 2019.
Not only that but if he had monster numbers and TB went deep into the playoffs, he might be full of himself and demand more than what he's worth. I think the beating he took this last year, physically and emotionally (on and off field) will make him more reasonable when it comes to salary demands. I can see him willing to sign a two year contract in the 20M range probably spread out so it makes sense for our cap space. The bonus is you have two young guys on the sidelines just salivating to learn from the GOAT. It's such a win win situation.
