Dolphins didn't hesitate to make sure word got out that Flores was hard to work with after they fired him. If he can really prove his side of things, than good for him.

The lawsuit actually names the San Francisco 49ers, and all NFL clubs, as possible defendants.

Not sure why maybe it's just levied against the NFL at large which includes in part all member clubs

I'm not sure if the Rooney rule is really doing any good at this point. I get the idea but if Belichick magically became available, is anybody going to want to give a fake interview first to be able to hire him afterwards?
Flores got f**ked but he's probably much better off being out of Miami.
We'll see an example of that next year when Jerruh fires McCarthy so he can bring in Payton.
Teams will hire whoever they want ultimately but at least act like professionals. If its true that Elway and the Broncos brass showed up late and hungover to an interview with Flores, that's a horrible look for that organization.

This is like a no win for both parties. Not sure how much change he will create from the lawsuit with these billionaire institution. Most of the situations mentioned in the lawsuit we all kinda know been happening.

Denver returns serve:
"The allegations from Brian Flores directed toward the Denver Broncos in today's court filing are blatantly false," the Broncos said. "Our interview with Mr. Flores regarding our head coaching position began promptly at the scheduled time of 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 5, 2019, in a Providence, R.I., hotel. There were five Broncos executives present for the interview, which lasted approximately three-and-a-half hours—the fully allotted time—and concluded shortly before 11 a.m.
"Pages of detailed notes, analysis and evaluations from our interview demonstrate the depth of our conversation and sincere interest in Mr. Flores as a head coaching candidate.
"Our process was thorough and fair to determine the most qualified candidate for our head coaching position. The Broncos will vigorously defend the integrity and values of our organization—and its employees—from such baseless and disparaging claims."

Gonna need to see security camera footage from that hotel. cause if someone tells me Elway was drunk somewhere I tend to believe them.

As I understand it, If you sue the NFL under a specific lawsuit, you must include all the NFL teams. Whether or not any teams have any wrongdoing, they are removed from the case one by one. In the end, Flores will end up suing the NFL as a proprietary entity and the four or five clubs separately.

From all the stories I've heard, it'd be more unusual if Elway showed up anywhere completely sober.
