Not advocating for a trade, but this dude would be unreal in Shanahan's offense. He's the only RB I'd have to consider.
I still remember the dino routes he ran during the Stanford Pro Day. Dude is filthy.
He could sit right next to Moster on IR every year.

Apparently the team is interested in JC jackson don't know how we will get him but that'd fill a huge need

You never know. Paraag can be a magician and im sure we can restructure and have more space once jimmy is off the books.

We can get him with Jimmy gone for sure. I am trying not to get my hopes up though. I think they are unlikely to give up what it will take to get him.

Possible red flags:
He was undrafted. Would probably want to be able to explain why this happened. Talent? Character concerns?
Also Bill B is on the Mt Rushmore of coaching. Is what Jackson is doing simply playing in the Bill B scheme?
Is it telling in any way that the Pats are willing to let him walk. I mean they have a rookie QB contract should have money available to tag or resign and they are passing on this guy. They had him in the building every day and if he was all that wouldn't they not let him leave?
Not against him per se just asking the question any club should ask before paying him fat dollars.

Can if we get Jimmy's contract off the books and not re-sign DJ or Laken. Plus have to remember that $18 Million a year doesn't mean his cap hit will be $18 Million each year. They would structure it to where there is barely any cap hit for 2022.

That's my concern as well. I mean if you can ball you can ball but I'd rather go after Gilmore. He'd be cheaper, a good mentor, and proved he can be good outside of NE.

Exactly. Gilmore would be cheaper and he still can play at least 2 years at a high level.
