we have to try everything we can in order to land J.C. Jackson. This is a once in a lifetime situation that a Cornerback of Jackson's caliber becomes available with only 26 years of age. Cornerback is by far our No. 1 need and Jackson is a true No. 1 corner. If we trade Jimmy G and maybe get rid of Dee Ford we should absolutely be able to find a way to acquire this game changing Cornerback. I hope we will be all in on him.

No doubt Lynch will do Is due diligence.
Yeah bro, we definitely aren't getting JC Jackson. Not how Niners go about free agency. They will sign some bargain bin vet corner to provide competition for Moseley and Thomas.

They will bring back verret and call it good

I think resign Verrett, draft a CB in the rounds 2 - 4, and sign a solid starter like Hayward. After hearing we had interest in JC Jackson, i tried to crunch the numbers as much as possible to make it work and i couldnt. I was literally the Charlie Day meme. Extending Samuel and Bosa is going to hurt our cap so much, even in my scenarios where we trade JimmyG and Mike McGlinchey. Found it hard to even resign Tomlison.

Not advocating for a trade, but this dude would be unreal in Shanahan's offense. He's the only RB I'd have to consider.

I still remember the dino routes he ran during the Stanford Pro Day. Dude is filthy.

until he gets hurt like he does EVERY YEAR

He suited up for all 16 games his first 3 years but has dealt with injuries in the last 2 seasons.

Wouldn't give up any day one or day two picks and unlikely he goes for day 3 picks. If he somehow ended up on the FA market, we should be sniffing around.
I feel like Mitch Trubisky's agent is behind all this "Mitch is gonna be hot this offseason" talk. Why would a guy that nobody wanted last year all of a sudden be hot after sitting on the bench for all of '21?

Also, if I'm the Saints, I'm just bringing back Jameis. He played well for them considering they didn't even have their best WR the entire season.

Am I the only one that is looking at the compensation the Seahawks got, thinking "that's it?" I would be furious as a Seahawks fan. Weird to think he's my favorite QB in the AFC West.

Die hard Seahawks fan:

What does she know she never played the position

She's an idiot.

That's not a HUGE L whatsoever. Apparently the team felt they had to move Wilson, and even with THAT LEVERAGE that other teams would have knowing that marriage was strained AF, they still got a ton of picks and players.

Either that or she's admitting they'll waste those 4 picks, cannot use a TE (well maybe they can, now that WIlson is gone), and can't use a good DT that Bronco fans say they'll miss.

WTF did she possibly want from Denver? Their entire WR corps too?

When Wilson fails to move the needle significantly in Denver, we'll sit back and enjoy with a KNOWING look.

He'll find a way to "COOK" in September/October, but will fail when it matters in the postseason. And I wonder if fans will be as patient in Denver than Seattle, since he's done nothing for the Broncos up until this point as opposed to two SB appearances.

This happens a lot at the end of last year the stink of the end of the Bears tenure was still on him. A year removed that's gone and people get back to looking at his build, athleticism, arm talent, age, availability, etc.

Yeah I think the injury to Jameis means other teams may cool off and new DC now HC Allen probably wants some consistency on offense I think they bring him back too.

In my opine, Wilson will give Denver what they had with Elway and Manning a franchise QB who is an MVP caliber player and they are back to being competitive and contending. Seattle got a haul as well.

Could also be that Washington was onto plan D after Rodgers stayed in GB, Wilson said no and went to Denver and perhaps JG is also a no to Washington. So Wentz could simply be the next option on their list.

We know our front office loves Jimmy and wants to put him in a position where he's going to succeed.

Throw in Kyle and Mike's history with Snyder and it makes sense that they're not going to send him to that dumpster fire.

Supply and demand...plenty of teams looking for a QB with a bad crop of draftees makes Tribusky the cream of the free agent crop. Some are even saying he's more valuable than Jimmy because teams won't have to give up draft capital to get him or a high salary to sign him.

Teams won't have to give up their sucky-ness with Trubisky either. With Jimmy G at least there is the threat to be improved.

Is he a legit SS or more of a dime linebacker type that you really don't want playing a deep half?

Good question certainly a big dude no question but former all pro and 3x pro bowlah. I mean to introduce Wentz as QB1 and cut probably one of the better DBs as a cap move ugh rough start...
