With all these big names being dealt, who could be the next? Last year, #Eagles Pro Bowl DT Fletcher Cox was nearly dealt at the trade deadline, and teams around the league have continued to call on him. Considering the D-line movement around the league, it's something to watch.

Got a big fat $16.5M cap hit for the team that brings him on....SF or whomever get's him would have to give him an extension which wouldn't be cheap (he's on the last yr of his deal)

Until the Niners get a trade for Jimmy completed they can't really entertain any major free agent signings. Even after the trade, much of their cap room will be used to sign their own players. Too many other teams have a lot more to offer these guys. I think this is going to be a year where we have to rely more than ever on the draft.

Nah they can entertain whomever...couple restructures possible extension or two and they're good to go even before Jimmy get's moved. I want Jimmy moved yes because of the cap but also because other teams will be spending their cap as well.
Teams are gonna be backloading deals because of the massive cap rise happening in the next couple yrs. SF will do the same.

Grady is one of my all time favorites. The only player that could make me forget about Jones leaving tbh.

They can make some minor moves but I can't see anything big without the trade happening first. They can talk to players in anticipation of the trade but there's only so much they can do. They are currently ranked about 24th in cap space. I've seen everything from $5 million over (over the cap) to $1 million under (spotrac) depending on what site you look at.
The point is, it's not that they can't make some moves but eventually you have to pay or lose players. We all hat eto see some of these guys go but you can only push back salaries so far. It's always a gamble when you do. You're gambling on how good that player will be when you eventually have to make that decision.

If they still have yet to receive any serious offers for Jimmy, It's unlikely they ever will Imo. We should probably just cut him and move on at this point.

Why cut him? Even a 3rd round pick is better than cutting him.

If a team offered us a 3rd, then yeah, I'd accept that. At this point, I honestly don't think teams are Interested In JG, especially with his history of Injuries and salary.

After trade attempts, the #Bears are releasing starting NT Eddie Goldman, source said. He is only 28 years old and will have a nice market.

2022 doesn't matter to them
With the Khalil Mack trade, the Chicago Bears are slated to have approx. $121M in cap space in 2023.

One-hundred-and-twenty-one million dollars.
