Shoulda beat Mahomes 2x already....soon™️
Yep. We created that dynasty that's what sucks. I give Kyle more credit for it than I do Andy Reid, tbph…

It's also the Niners fault that none of the teams in the AFC could stop the Chiefs on the way to the SB each time. Stupid Kyle.

So dumb. It's ironic that I've heard them cite player safety as a reason for the change given that lot of defenders use the hip drop to protect themselves. Nick Bosa uses it all the time to protect his knees and remove any risk of them getting caught in the grass or rolled into by another player.

Another Way For The League to control the narrative so to speak.

I understand player safety, but seriously how many players were actually injured by the hip drop tackle? How the hell are the defensive players suppose to play with intensity anymore? So many rules for players safety, it's no longer about concussions anymore.
So what is the now banned hip drop tackle? The NFL put together a video montage. pic.twitter.com/Fc5wLl8xDh

BREAKING: The replay assistant will now be allowed to correct certain types of incorrect calls on the field for roughing the passer and intentional grounding, per @TomPelissero https://t.co/qH1iwDfsNh pic.twitter.com/KVD7mc2PC0

The NFL used this video to highlight some of the injuries. I guess as a Niner fan, it kind of benefits our team since this rule change will only makes it more difficult to bring down guys like Kittle, CMC, Deebo, etc.
