I've been thinking about boycotting this year anyways. Just so much b******t last year. I have never ever not watched football on Sundays. But this new rule really makes me think it might be better to do something else on Sundays. The NFL integrity has been waning in recent years. This new rule really, really adds to the waning.

It's becoming almost unwatchable. I'm thinking of canceling my YouTube Sunday Ticket.
They got like 15 ways you can't hit, tackle or sack now. This isn't football anymore.

New kickoff rule has passed after adjusting it so a touchback comes out to the 30 rather than the 35. So yeah every team is just gonna be blasting the ball through the end zone.

Seems stupid not to just blast it.

This new tackling rule is going to cost a team a playoff game, just watch. I just hope it's not us.

Yeah way too big of a risk to not just go with the touchback. It's like running a jailbreak blitz every defensive play. Just takes one hole and the returner is housing it.

So much for having to drive the whole field and score. Pretty soon they'll be starting at the 50. Might as well take away the punters too and just play half field football.

I'm sure we will try and kick it to the 1 and stop them short and get burnt a few times cause that's just what we do. It will be real cool when a return man breaks one and gets caught from behind and then the tackler can't hip drop tackle and the return man breaks the tackle and scores.

They keep adding or changing rules in an effort to try and cut down on injuries. It doesn't work. All they do is make it harder for officials causing more delays and replays. The pace of football is pathetic now. Baseball has more action.
Players are going to continue to get injured no matter what they do. Maybe they need to get serious about steroid use so players aren't bulked up so much. That might help a little.
