He still has 2 years left on his rookie deal. So really the annual salary is around $45 Million per season once you take into account the 2 years he has left on his current deal.
A perfect example of a player making too much based on what other players receive. Lawrence is a decent player and may someday be an elite player but right now he's not even in the top 10 for me. I know that means nothing but I don't think you could find anyone in the league that thinks he should be the highest paid player or even close to it. It's a race to see who is the first $100 million per year player. It's going to happen and it won't be far off.

Jared Goff was the highest paid qb ever -- twice (?) which is enough for me lol
Apparently Roger Goodell is in court currently for a class action lawsuit about the Sunday Ticket. Sounds like the plaintiffs want an option to just get a package that includes only the team they want to watch rather than buy the whole enchilada.

I'd welcome this, but knowing the NFL & Goodell, they'll either settle the case with no changes to the NFL Sunday Ticket, which I already paid for this season($249), or they'll lose but the team packages will be expensive, I mean normally NFLST costs between $349-$389 as a subscriber to YouTubeTV, or $449-$489 if you're not a sub to YouTubeTV, so I'm guessing it won't be anywhere near what people want the price to be, ESPN wanted to offer the NFLST for just $70, of course the NFL said no, I think Apple wanted to have it included with the AppleTV+ subscription but that may have been misleading. Just ridiculous how expensive the ticket is compared the NBA($99.99), NHL($69.99), & MLB($150 I think).

Yep the price will be through the roof for individual team packages if it goes that way.
