Perfect example as to why you can't dick around when you have a QB on a rookie deal...I like Carr and think he's a damn good QB, $40 per is laughable and sounds more like agent fluff talk.

Also when people toss out "so and so amount PER yr" it's never that end of the day....it's all about the years and gtd cash that matter. Also he's still got a yr left, so any extension will likely have that yr attached to it, and they will spread that signing bonus out including using this yr (which will lower the cap hit over the yrs).
