Jones is a good backup that many teams would love to have. If you have a decent backup, there should be no disruption in the offense as far as productivity
When he's not playing Toms always been a real one looking out for defenders.

lol yeah that's why I said when he's not playing. However back when he was playing in an interview he said "it's not a defenders job to protect an offensive player" when it came to defenseless receivers. Found it

Sounds like some folks just don't like the guy so they look for any and all excuses to denigrate him. Don't get me wrong there are legitimate reasons to criticize the man like anyone else, but he has been balanced as much as a QB can be in his own criticisms of these rules regarding offensive and defensive players. Is it a shock if as a player he lobbied an official for a call a lot? Don't most players do that?
The should do wonders for his FA market

Nope. You're wrong. He took advantage of the rules, and we can blame him for that. But he's saying the right thing.

Nope you're wrong, diving at the knees or lunge at the passer is known as the "Tom Brady Rule".

Again he took advantage of the rules. Didn't hear QBs complaining in the 80s / 90s when that happened. The league made it easier for QBs. Glad to hear Brady call it out…
I remember when it was an outrage that this guy wasn't being hired as an NFL HC.

No doubt he had a rule added because of his injury. As did Aaron Rodger's who is another QB who wants the flag on the field but post game talks about how he didn't think certain plays that were flagged shoulda been flags.

Give it a few before someone in NT calls for us to hire him as OC.
