That $250m guaranteed the Bills gave to Allen puts to bed the idea that the huge guarantee given to Watson by the Browns was a radical outlier, financially. I sincerely hope the Niners don't feel obligated to make such a deal for Purdy. Such astronomical figures reek of hubris.

How did Kinlaw get that much? I didn't follow him real close last year, I know he improved a bit but that's not saying much with how bad he was here. Did he really improve THAT much? And there are still major injury concerns for him. Pretty shocking

The Watson deal was a radical outlier when it happened. Salaries have escalated a lot since then. Plus Allen is a lot better and not a D bag like Watson.

Bears got Drew Dalman, $14 million/year. 49ers aren't even going to try this year, apparently. Jaylon Moore got $15 million per to sign with the Chiefs.
