Yeah, this is why they shouldn't diddle around with Brock. It might seem more now on whatever the number is, but coming next season the market for QB could reset to 65-70 million a year.

All the contracts are getting crazy. Players at postions other than QB and WR are asking for more and more too. It reminds me of a movie (And Justice For All) where AlPacino is a lawyer and he starts yelling in court. "You're out of order. You're out of order. The whole trial is out of order." That's what happens when the salary cap goes up and the NFL profits keep rising. These guys should be paid what they are worth, now the general public wages need to go up as well. Hard to understand how a athlete who can throw or catch a ball makes more or the same as a person who can put a different heart in someones chest.

Why is a QB worth 50+ million a year today vs 5,10,15 years ago? He's not.
I don't know about you but I don't get any more enjoyment watching a QB making 50 million a year than I did watching the Manning bros, Rivers, Favre or any other QB play, on their respective salaries. 😂

I can guarantee if owner's had an unspoken rule to cap QB's at 50 mil a year none of them would say forget it, I'm quitting football and going to work in what I earned a degree for in College, as well as capping all other positions.
Increases would only come as the cap goes up but make it so QB's don't get the lions share of the increase to where it's spread more evenly on a percentage basis to all position groups, not just QB,DE,CB,WR.

This is most likely his last contract. I don't think it was the smartest move financially for him because I don't see the Bucs winning any championships anytime soon.
