Interesting. Well the Packers now have a lot of $ they can use on remaining FAs and some draft capital they can also use to improve. It's not a terrible deal for GB.

AR should follow and request to be traded to SF lol
Have to admit....watching James Jones having his Packer world implode on him on NFLN last night was amusing. Dude looked crushed.

Oh great, another trade that we couldn't be in on due to Jimmy's contract. Thanks Jimmy.

It must be nice being fans of a franchise that makes trades and tries to improve their team. We never do.

Nah, not at that rate. Dude is getting almost $30 mil a year. No thanks.

Besides, it's the Raiders. You know it will probably blow up in their face somehow.

Eli Apple resigned by Cincy. When asked why they would bring him back after the Super Bowl, Bengals front office replied "we didn't watch the Super Bowl, did we win?"

The media (and to be honest a fair number of fans) just ask dumb questions and/or questions designed to create (and then open) a can of worms.

It's a real cesspit full of s**tty human beings.
Rodgers has to be really happy about thus. Only his favorite receiver. Valdez-Scanting is still a free agent too. They now have a high priced QB with nobody to throw to.
Remember when this guy was supposed to be the next great LB. His career completely unraveled after this first season.

This is exactly why so many teams are willing to part with #1 draft picks in favor of established players. Every year we see draft busts or 2nd and 3rd year players fizzling out after a good rookie year. It's an old saying but it's still true. You need to wait 3 years before you can evaluate a draft. Give the players time to adjust to the NFL and then for the league to adjust to the player.
If Watson ends up in NO or ATL we have to face him this coming season. That would mean the Niners would have to go up against Watson, Brady, Herbert, Carr, Mahomes, Wilson, Stafford twice and Murray twice. The only top level QBs that they would miss are Allen and Burrow. Jackson too because of his running.

This is why I wish the 9ers traded their 1st round picks for a veteran QB and not a rookie. And to top it all off they didn't even get all the way to the #1 overall pick after spending three 1st round picks.
