Interesting. Well the Packers now have a lot of $ they can use on remaining FAs and some draft capital they can also use to improve. It's not a terrible deal for GB.

Blockbuster: Packers are trading Pro-Bowl WR Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders for two prime 2022 picks, league sources tell ESPN.

Oh great, another trade that we couldn't be in on due to Jimmy's contract. Thanks Jimmy.
It must be nice being fans of a franchise that makes trades and tries to improve their team. We never do.
Nah, not at that rate. Dude is getting almost $30 mil a year. No thanks.
Besides, it's the Raiders. You know it will probably blow up in their face somehow.

The media (and to be honest a fair number of fans) just ask dumb questions and/or questions designed to create (and then open) a can of worms.
It's a real cesspit full of s**tty human beings.

Source: The #Cowboys have agreed to terms on a 1-year deal with LB Leighton Vander Esch. Their former first round pick is back.

This is exactly why so many teams are willing to part with #1 draft picks in favor of established players. Every year we see draft busts or 2nd and 3rd year players fizzling out after a good rookie year. It's an old saying but it's still true. You need to wait 3 years before you can evaluate a draft. Give the players time to adjust to the NFL and then for the league to adjust to the player.

That would mean the Niners would have to go up against Watson, Brady, Herbert, Carr, Mahomes, Wilson, Stafford twice and Murray twice. The only top level QBs that they would miss are Allen and Burrow. Jackson too because of his running.
Aaron Rodgers ain't top level?

This is why I wish the 9ers traded their 1st round picks for a veteran QB and not a rookie. And to top it all off they didn't even get all the way to the #1 overall pick after spending three 1st round picks.
