Think about it SEA dropped this guy and has tons of cap space post Wilson. Do they know something LAR doesn't? They could easily have afforded him.

All you heard after superbowl was how cash strapped the rams were, how do they continue to sign these expensive players?? Used to think Paraag was the cap guru but it seems like Snead is way ahead of him

We've been hearing the same s**t for literally 5 years now.

"Rams mortgaged their future"

"Rams are f**ked without draft picks"

"Rams will be in cap hell"

Section 5, page 13, rule #7 of the NFL bylaws state that the Rams have first crack at every free agent and can bypass the cap if necessary.

Its really not that hard to see what they are doing if you actually tried. LOL Whitworth retired saving them 15M, lost Von, Joseph-Day, Okornkwo, Darious Williams, & Austin Corbett, signed just Robinson & Wagner, extended Stafford, that's how they gained cap room
I am surprsed he got so many years because of his age, He will be 32 in a couple of months. I thought for sure he would be getting a 2 year deal at most. He's already started to decline in some areas.
I heard Sherman may be signing there too. One of those long term contracts that is really for one year.
I used to not hate the Rams like I do the Seahawks. The Rams buying most of their good players (except Kupp and Donald) now puts them in Seahawk hate territory for me.

That would actually be a positive for us. Sherman is done. He was done two years ago.

I still haven't ran into many Rams fans and when I do they are far more tolerable than a Seahawk fan. So for me they are gonna have to pick up a bunch of bandwagon 12's to even rival my hatred of the Hawks

It's already flipped months ago when LA was clearly going all in and SEA was at the bottom of the div in 2021. LA / SF is a true multi-sport rivalry which SEA never was. SEA was always about CK / Russ and JH v Carroll imo. "What's your deal?" Great games in 2019 for sure. But now LAR is our #1 rival no question.
Not many Rams or Seahawks fan here in DC.

Would you hate the rams as much if the 49ers took care of business in the NFC game? All of these flashy signings are a moot point if the niners take care of business.
For those of you who are saying that you dont hate the Rams like you do the Seahawks, I have to ask a question. And I am going to preface it by saying that I mean NO disrespect when I ask....

How old are you guys?

The reason I ask is because the Rams have been our rivals for decades, and that small blip on the timeline that is the Seahawks and Niner battles doesnt change who are rivals are for me (or anyone I know who is my age or older).

Like I said, I dont mean it as disrespect. An example of this for me would be if the Dodgers were terrible for like a decade, and during that time the Rockies and the Giants had epic battles. The Rockies wouldnt be our rivals, it would still be the Dodgers.
