How old are you guys?

The reason I ask is because the Rams have been our rivals for decades, and that small blip on the timeline that is the Seahawks and Niner battles doesnt change who are rivals are for me (or anyone I know who is my age or older).

Like I said, I dont mean it as disrespect. An example of this for me would be if the Dodgers were terrible for like a decade, and during that time the Rockies and the Giants had epic battles. The Rockies wouldnt be our rivals, it would still be the Dodgers.

1986-1990 - 49ers v Giants (WCO vs Parcells/Belichick)
1992-1994 - 49ers v Cowboys (3 straight NFC Champs)
1995-1998 - 49ers v Packers (4 straight playoff meetings; Catch II)
1999-2010 - Dark Ages
2011-2014 - 49ers v Seahawks (Harbs v Pete Pac 10 rivals; SI cover CK & Russ, both teams SB contenders and physical)
2015-2016 - Mini Dark Age
2017-2022 - 49ers v Rams (Shanny v McVay two former staffers under Papa Shanny, Rams to 2018 SB, 49ers to 2019 SB, NFC Champ 2021)
DeVante Parker traded MIA to NE for a 5th and 3rd. Trading in the div means MIA is betting he sucks and NE is betting MIA is stupid.

I'll take N'Keal Harry for a 2023 7th round pick.

Trying to figure who won this. Gonna say Philly. Three first rounders this year is kinda stupid. You don't want that many deals expiring and second contract owed all at once. They now have two firsts this year, two first next year, and another 2nd to boot 2024.

Saints giving away their first rounder next year is dumb imo. Winston coming off injury, Sean P retired, not a good recipe for success imo. They may be flipping a top 10 back to Philly next year.

Am I reading correctly? All that to jump two spots? What QB are they after? Who did they leapfrog without me looking (so lazy)

Wait what?

Wtf are the saints smoking

They are gambling that their #1 next year wont be real high

All for a slight bump up and an extra mid 1st round pick this draft?

What do picks 16 and 19 do for them?

Guessing they have identified a slew of players they grade as early or solid first rounders and with two picks in the top 20 they will land 2 such players guaranteed. Often first round trades mean QB. This does not mean that as no guarantee what QB or if one would be avail with these picks. Going for position players imo.

My guess is that they are collecting ammo for use in a trade up for a QB. That or they have a couple guys that they really like a lot in that range and want both.

They could use an OT to replace Armstead, and a WR if they eventually get out of Thomas's bad contract.
It would be funny if the Chargers now trade with the Eagles to jump ahead of the Saints and grab the tackle the Saints wanted. I don't think the Saints made this move so they could then package two 1st to move up to grab a QB. That would be foolish to do that for this QB class. I think they want to fill two needs with cheap players and one of those is a Tackle. The other is probally a WR. The thing is the Chargers also need a tackle and might be afraid of the Saints taking the guy they want.
