The team previously declined it on 4 other first rounders, while Seattle did not use a 1st round pick in 2013-2015 and 2017.
DE L.J. Collier's 5th year option is unlikely.

Well after giving that big contract to Davante Adams, it was expected. Carr is a really good QB. You can win with him. He was a MVP candidate in 2016. The problem I have with him is that he can be captain checkdown sometimes. He´ s not the type of guy who will take the big risk at 3rd and long to make his team win.
But honestly if you´re the Raiders, why would you not re-sign him?

They had to and right move. I like him as well but this is now show us time.

Say what you want, but Carr kept the Raiders competitive and got the into the playoffs. With Adams now available and hopefully some help on the offensive line, he can be more dangerous. Good luck in the new AFC West. Going to be the new most competitive division.
