One thing about that it was the NFL Champ vs a bunch of 20-22 year olds. This would be rookies vs college draft eligibles so maybe 1 year between them rather than a big age gap. Could make it more competitive but likely edge to the NFL guys. Trey would probably run circles around college players even all stars but would be fun to watch that.
College players opt out of bowl games. I doubt they would sign up to play in a all state game. I think the pro bowl needs to be dumped all together. It gives players like Andy Dalton something to bring up when he demands more money after he's the 4th alternate
Some drop of out bowl games I imagine some wouldn't sign up for this but out of hundreds of draft eligible I imagine you would get enough to fill a squad. Imagine recording a couple sacks vs NFL players or getting a couple touchdowns. Could vault people up the draft boards.
We have the Shrine bowl and senior bowl for those players
Do you watch the shrine bowl and/or senior bowl? If Trey Lance and Eli Mitchell are out there I'm watching. Mac Jones, Lawrence, Lance and Fields could all play a quarter. Would be fascinating.

Players even opt out of those if they know they're going to be a high draft pick. Players are so afraid of getting hurt now I'm amazed that they don't live in a inflatable bubble.
