Agree, but it could have been different if our OLine wasn't so injured. But yeah, the run game wasn't there against the LA rams in the NFCCG. It was a legit loss.

They missed that easy one when ramsey got face masked so it's ok

I heard but obviously it got scrubbed from the web that The NFL went to court arguing that it is not a contested sport and cannot be tried as such but rather they are a sports entertainment business

That's my point. All game long they let the teams play and both sides got away with stuff, then at the end when the Rams are going to lose if they don't they're throwing flags on every play. Just stinks is all im saying.

Take our SB against the Ravens for example. All game long the refs lost their flags and that included the final series redzone stand where Crabtree got absolutely blasted helmet to helmet, to the point that he later said he lost sight for a short period of time, no flag. Holding of Crabtree on the final play, blatant imo, no flag.

It just smells funny.

You see the NFL PR guys on all these boards posing as fans saying "no it wasn't rigged".

Why would any fan not connected to the Rams come on saying that that super bowl was on the up & up after seeing this year in and year out?

Dont fault players and coaches but the officiating is where it can be rigged for ratings and betting outcomes

They would lose all credibility and cease to exist basically. You think the NFL cares that the Bengals won? Next year they will continue to make insane money and have big rating. Getting sued would be the last of their worries if this was the case.

Now you could argue that certain refs might be getting paid to throw games, but way no way is the league as a whole involved in that.

I heard the league kept referring to themselves as not a contested sports league which would mean there could be congressional oversight if things warranted such. But instead they're as a sports entertainment business where there can be no oversight in their affairs no different than WWE

This ain't about Bengals or Rams but the NFL should be a sports league so that the efforts of coaches and players are rewarded just so

There is no justification for it not to be.

I say remove all doubt and perhaps we won't have so many doubters after flags are thrown about inconsistently

I just think it's silly to believe that.

The league has very little to gain compared to what they can lose. It's not even close to being worth it for the NFL.

Now refs getting paid off, there's an argument there. It's not like it's never happened.
