From this article:

Garoppolo never has been high on the team radar because he's not considered much of an upgrade from Darnold.

This must make you so happy.

Wow don't remember Darnold going to the Super Bowl or NFCC game.

By that logic the 49ers should get to the Super Bowl no problem with Trey Lance. Gee can't wait!!!

It doesn't make me happy at all. I wish Jimmy was thought of as a substantial upgrade over Darnold so we could have gotten something for him. I just pointed it out because the homers have been preaching the opposite all offseason.

And the rest of your post is just nonsense. How does a post about Darnold and Garoppolo have anything at all to do with Trey Lance. "By that logic" LMAO. You are connecting things that aren't even there.

Why is it nonsense because you don't see how it's irrelevant, who's fault is that. Smh

it's relevant because you think all these QB's are just so much better than Jimmy, that they should have absolutely no problem doing what he was able to do.

Putting words in my mouth now. I have never said anything of the sort of "all these QBs are so much better than Jimmy," especially in terms of Trey Lance.

And even if I did (I didnt), team success and personal success are not the same thing. Trey could be twice the QB that Jimmy is, but if the entire offensive line gets hurt, it's clear that the team won't be as good as last year...regardless of the QB.

You are all over the place my guy. Alllll over the place. The post you originally responded to has absolutely nothing to do with Trey Lance. YOU made it about him.

Oh my bad I guess you think Jimmy is better than Darnold and Lance. My mistake.

Mature response, Kolohe. Smh

I think Jimmy is better than Darnold. I have never said otherwise. I questioned whether or not he was $9M a season plus a draft pick(s) better, but never said he wasn't better.

I think Lance will be better than Jimmy in the long term. I think Lance can be just as good as Jimmy immediately, but that obviously remains to be seen.

Hopefully that helps clear things up so you stop putting words in my mouth or reply with a snarky twist on what I actually have said over and over again.

Apologize for my snarky response or responses. But, lets not pretend you don't post stuff to smear Jimmy. And I guess NY's tweet in the Jimmy thread disputes what you originally posted which states Carolina will see about adding Mayfield or Jimmy.

I know this Jimmy argument is old already and beatin to death over and over again. I just don't understand all s**t throwing some of you do like Jimmy didn't do s**t for the 9ers. That is all.
One thing about Carolina their QB situation is weak and they probably know it. Corral seems like a major project could be good but may take time. Darnold is a flat out bust. Do you want to be starting a raw rookie or a bust week 1? The answer is no you don't and everyone knows it.
lol

lol :D
That article about Carolina not wanting any part of Jimmy's contract is funny. They can play their current QBs or overpay for a winner with a year left on his deal.

and their HC is on the hot seat, something has to give...

Scuttlebutt has it Jimmy was open to a reduction in salary (whether that is true or not). That may make it more palatable for potential suitors.

Question is would he be able to win in Carolina without Kyle's play calling?
Going back to the carrousel.. now teams have to name starters.. here's how I see it.. all teams not named have a known starter fairly obv:

Jets - Flacco (if Wilson out)
Browns - Brissett
Steelers - Mitch (not for long)
Giants - Taylor
Falcons - Mariota
Seahawks - Geno

Yup. I mean we saw Geno last year he was terrible.. then he was arrested for DUI. How that equates to landing an NFL starting QB gig.. I have no idea what SEA is doing. Ppl say they are tanking which I don't buy as teams don't do that plus Carroll wouldn't return for that plus they would have moved guys like Lockett / DK.
