One of the other ST failures that hasn't been mentioned near enough has been the number of times they've fielded punts inside their own 10 yard line. I thought players were taught to let it go if it's inside the 10, but I've seen them catch as deep as the 5 a few times. Who is telling them to do that?

In modem NFL you catch anything 5+ yards. Coverage teams have got extremely good at pinning a kick within the 10.

Really? Damn, I must be old. I've seen Mitch do it a couple times this season with his backspin, but he's been one of the few bright spots on ST this year.

Wonder if injuries might've watered down the Special Teams talent pool ...?

Jalen Graham was cut for a reason so that's possibly a contributor.

Not only did he fail to wrap on that return TD, but he tried to use the wrong shoulder.
We desperately need better ST play. Every lose this season can be blamed on ST mistakes that directly cost us points.

Bruh is trash, he needs to be let go before he costs us the season

How does this work with the new kickoff rule?

He was talking about punts not kickoffs
Worst coverage unit I've seen in 35 years of watching the NFL.

The fact that Schneider is still coaching ST and the unit is still this bad is directly on the head coach.
