Glad he has a bye that he can spend with his family so they can grieve together. Was rough for Goodwin to have to play.

Yeah that moment with his touchdown and kneeling still gives me chills / teary eyes thinking about it

Just heard the news while listening to Grant. His child was dealing with some health issues but this was totally unexpected. I CANNOT IMAGINE. Its absolutely heartbreaking. My 2 lb 1 oz daughter was in the NICU for her first 3 months and I remember how hard that was to deal with. I cannot imagine what his family is dealing with. They are in my daily prayers.

I just heard about this. This is so heartbreaking. Losing a child is the worst thing anyone could experience in life.

Seriously.... What did he say some BS about how the niners need a corner to replace him. I was thinking....I know nepotism is huge in sports writing but David Bonilla from the Zone Mailbag is so much better on how to voice his thoughts on a opinion piece. SI needs to see that it's annoying to waist time reading his clouded opinions. I don't mind someone being critical however do it like Ray Ratto not Cohn.

What is standard bereavement? I was kinda surprised he wasn't playing against GB. My work only gave me a week off after my father past. Its going on a month with Ward
