He's been solid being thrust into a starter role. Gaining AA but losing Ridgeway is like 1 step forward, 1/3 step back.

He's been a good run defender. TY McGill to replace him?

Just read Ridgeway out 6-8 weeks. I don't want AA coming back and getting a large load of snaps, risking reaggravation of his his foot injury. Yeah, should be TY McGill.

This is a somewhat big loss. He was playing 25+ snaps a game.
They can't IR him and bring him back so either he's done for the season or he eats a roster spot until he's healthy. 6-8 weeks would put him out til the playoffs so I think they will IR him and not have him return.

I know people are going to roll their eyes at this and I don't blame them but Kinlaw should be back soon.

The funny thing is, even as I read what you wrote, I still rolled my eyes--was trying hard not to.

f**k this guy was a beast. Armstead needs to stay healthy and play starter snaps now. Practice squad guys are a huge downgrade.

With 2 IR spots left and having Trey, Elijah and Kinlaw on IR plus any other injuries I almost wonder if we should bring Kinlaw back right now. Personally I think we should wait and bring back Risgeway.

Barrows suggested that the team is waiting until after the Seahawks game—the last game on artificial turf—to bring him back. I think that's a fair read on the situation.

Hopefully McGill can cut it at Nose.
