Just googled his name and I don't see anything about him being involved in the Rice thing (that f**ker better do time btw). Someone got a link?

In case you were wondering, here are the top college punt returners by yardage. The first two are mocked roughly at 49ers #31 pick. Some mocks have DeJean going in the mid-to-late first round.
1. Xavier Worthy, WR
5. Keon Coleman, WR
12. Cooper DeJean, CB
WR Ladd McConkey did pretty well with punt returns the prior year but he didn't have those duties in 2023. He is a possible at #31.

I heard something yesterday that the other driver was a current SMU football player so at least Gray was not driving. I still put him on the weak bubble to start the season competing for the last WR spot. We'll see one or two WR draft picks and a couple of UDFAs added to the mix.

The good news is that WR 1 thru 3 are set. The bad news is WR 4 is a question mark. Conley was ok last year and the rest we non-factors. We will see one or two draft picks at WR and a couple more UDFAs. There are about 15 more spots to fill the 90 so that will most likely be all rookies. Bold are the guys in their contract year:
- Chris Conley
- Ronnie Bell
- Danny Gray
- Tay Martin
- Trent Taylor (Punt Returner)
