You either want it or you don't. Aiyuk stepped up to the challenge and is a complete, elite NFL receiver. Pettis punked out and is bouncing from team to team. Gray so far seems like a guy that just doesn't want it enough. Too bad.

You can see him on a new team maybe and he still likely won't do much of anything. Gray was always a project and never a sure thing. I mean they almost all are coming in to the draft. But he had inconsistent hands and wasn't the toughest of guys physically. He's basically a bigger Marquise Goodwin.

Still, guys gifted with his speed are the type that have every opportunity to get on the field if they show the work ethic and ability to improve. He apparently didnt' and was injured last year on top of that.

Maybe he goes elsewhere and becomes the Mostert of WR's without bouncing around as many teams. More likely, he becomes another Trent Sherfield if that.

Forgot this dude was even on the team
