I expect Dallas to pick him up foe their practice squad, after some encouragement from Trey Lance.
Edit- unless Andy gets him for Patrick Mahomes.
I know folks think he sucks, because Kyle doesn't use him... but when he was on the field.. he got seperation and made catches. We'll see.
Where and when? The preseason game from 2022 when Trey hit him deep? If he has that much good film where he's getting separation and making catches, he wouldn't be getting cut. If Danny Gray were any of that, the team wouldn't have even made another offer to Brandon Aiyuk and would've pivoted to Gray.
Hell even in this preseason I saw him beat his man... but was underthrown.
And in hell no way am I comparing him to Aiyuk, and what Brandon brings to the field.
We don't have much film, but from what I saw he would beat people.. and I don't remember him having a catching problem..like we have seen from other WRs.
So all I'm saying is, if you see him making plays for another team...as a role player or whatever, don't be too surprised.
He's a professional receiver. He should be his man, once. It's like QBs with accuracy. Sure they can throw a few dimes here and there, but being consistently accurate- over 1000 passes, or in the case of Gray, consistently beating guys. You aren't going to go through 3 training camps, consistently getting up, but get NO press whatsoever. Not from a beat writer. Not from other DBs. Nothing. This has nothing to do with Kyle's doghouse. Gray ain't good. It sucks because I liked the potential of what he could add to the offense.
