Yep, Ilm Manning & Keith Ismael, now Knight, oh well, Bradley Roby is in for a visit, hopefully he's healthy, he'd be a nice addition.

Yeah, losing Knight hurts a little bit. I was hoping we could continue to develop him to where he had a shot at the 53 either later in the year or in 2024. I am also intrigued by the Roby workout. At the very least he might be able to help us piece the secondary together until Womack and Luter come off their respective injured lists.

Sucks man, two of the guys I wanted us to keep at least on the PS got snatched by a division rival

I always did like Roby though, he'd be a nice consolation prize with tons of experience. Wonder how much his speed has diminished, he was fast!

It's up to Knight, he can sign with whoever he wanted too, obviously he wanted to sign with the Cards, where he'll get playing time, and more money, $216K on 49ers PS vs $750K on Cards 53, well 16/18 weeks worth.

It's a huge pay bump for him but the only way a team can poach a practice squad player is if they put him on their 53, you can't take one and put him on your practice squad.

Yeach, very few players will turn that opportunity down. Oh well, back to the drawing board. They found Gipson when another practice squad player got snatched/injured - if i remember correctly.

I liked the kid but if the Cardinals aren't keeping him even during the offseason where you get extra players until the roster cutdowns for week 1...maybe he wasn't as good as we thought?
