I just don't get this move. Shanahan's offense requires so many RBs due to wear and tear of all the touches they get. Can't have too many of them.

The 49ers wouldn't have been in the 5th round at all of this draft without the Deebo and Mason trades because the NFL stripped them of their original pick there due to the accounting error. But now they're in their money round 2x

49ers have so many needs, I just don't like creating another one. Now we have to use a draft pick on a RB.

Really wish we didn't blow that 5th rounder on a stupid accounting error. We would have NINE picks in the first 160 selections.

We also got screwed on one of the comp picks this year. One of our 3rd RD comp picks(139) got changed to a 7th RD comp pick.

49ers didn't really value Mason as much as the fans did. Thought he was worth more than 2026 6th and moving up from 187 to 160. But not surprised he was traded

I Get that we have a surplus but that's a f****in garage return. Absolutely HATE this move. He's worth at least two mid round picks MINIMUM.

Now they want to trade Mason too for low ball compensation. A 5th and a 6th for a good young RB. I mean wow. This is NOT a team that is trying to win. Looks like they are unloading the entire team. To save money and salaries.
