No, but you must be if you think this was a good trade? I guess you don't know a good RB when you see one. You'd rather have Patrick Taylor? Do you even understand that they don't get the f**king 6th round pick until 2026? So you think they're going to find a guy with Jordan Mason's production and YPC in the 6th round? Good luck! You better hope that CMC holds up.

This is one of the deepest RB draft classes in yrs. You clearly haven't even looked into it the way you're complaining.

Mason on a 1yr $5M deal shouldn't be a thing.

Guerendo Avg 5.0 YPC last yr

Lol.

CMC is not reliable and IG is not as good as Mason.
For whatever reason Mason just never got a fair shot, then when he finally did he got hurt.

Absolutely stupid to let a RB that has a 5-6 YPC average walk for a late round pick, especially as young as he is.

If you think CMC is going to play all season, then you need to reevaluate your thinking process.
How many seasons has CMC played the entire schedule without being hurt?
He should not even be counted on at all. If he stays healthy, then great, but anyone being honest should realize that you don't go into this season thinking he's going to stay healthy.

So, take CMC off the table, he is irrelevant. Now you're left with IG who is average at best. Oh yeah….don't forget to add in the part that you have ZERO offensive line…..

This is going to be another rough season, maybe they are looking forward to '26.

The trade is stupid. For a team that likes to pound the rock and has CMC coming off major surgeries, this is asking for trouble. CMC better show up healthy and not injured like in 2024. What a f**king disaster.

Makes the Juice signing even more aggravating.

Im shocked you don't like it (sarcasm).

they were never keeping him at that $5M price tag.

clearly you haven't looked at this draft at RB. It's f**king loaded

Outside of CMC, our best RBs have been

Matt Breida
Jeff Wilson
Elijah Mitchell
Jordan Mason

Where were those guys drafted? We'll be fine.
So Mason was too expensive at 5 million, but we'll 5 million for another receiver, pay 34 year old Juice 4 million. We can pay 7 million for a backup TE.

I just don't like the move. I guess Kyle doesn't like something about Mason. Maybe doesn't think he's a good enough receiver, but CMC's career is almost over and I don't think Gurrendo is the one...
I'm shocked by how many fans are surprised by this. I always assumed that he was getting traded. You don't pay your backup RB top 15 RB money. Also knew we were never getting much for him because he needed to be signed by the new team. I thought we would get a 5th round pick but instead we got a pick swap and a 6th so that's a little less than I thought. I think it did put them in a better position to trade up at some point in the draft. I like Mason and wish him well in Minnesota

You can't judge this trade until you see which RB we draft.
Honestly Mason never seemed to fit in Kyle's system.

You forgot the best example to support your claim, Mosterati!

$5.25M for one yr FGTD. That other WR/FB will be on the field much more. That TE was signed for 3yrs…not one yr of play. Comparing those contracts isn't equal.

no kyle knows this draft is stocked with really really good RBs that's rookie contract will cost the same over the life of their deal vs one yr of Mason.

I swear some people in here just don't get it.

So you suggest keeping a backup RB behind CMC because he can't stay healthy, and then Mason ended up getting hurt and missing the rest of the year himself? And then to top it off Mason would make $5.25 million dollars as the 18th highest paid RB in the league?

Zero offensive line? That same line that had the 4th most YPG in the league last year all without Trent Williams for most of the year?

And Guerendo isn't as good as Mason? In what world?

Facts man. Back off the ledge. It's going to be Ok.

It's dumb complaining. What's SF gonna do…keep Mason for one yr as a backup? What the hell does that solve?

we can draft his replacement in a rich RB draft class who's total contract will be the same as what Mason's getting in one yr.

they for like 8 picks in the top 160.
Guerendo averaged 5 ypc, is a way superior receiver, just as big, and faster. Mason was going to be the #3 most likely. Mason was a bad blocker too.

He's great after contact, but after thinking about it, his vision was awful at times. He conceded easy first downs a ton of times and helped cost us games.

Ultimately, paying $5 million for one year and then letting him walk for nothing just doesn't make sense.

I knew I was missing someone. Probably was only thinking of guys ShanaLynch brought in. But yes, Mostert as well. We will be more than fine.
