IMO, Saleh isn't the problem. And, despite Wilson's roller-coaster play, they were playing well until

I think it will depend on how they finish. If White goes out there and the offense looks bad these remaining games, I think Selah gets fired. If White comes in and looks good, they will put all the blame on Wilson and I think Selah will get another year.

Providing Saleh gets to keep his job (who knows?), he may be looking for a new QB. The 49ers, at the moment, appear to be rich in them. Including one that cost three 1st round picks. A player who may never sniff the field in the near future if the current QB goes deep into the playoffs OR wins the Super Bowl.

1) So you dont need to even think of any possible compensation and you just want him gone, basically, correct?
2) If you want him out of here so badly, then why would you think Saleh would want him?

The Jets are just hard to watch on offense. Like 2014-2015 49ers under Tomsula bad.
They could still use some OL help, but they have the pieces to be good on offense. They mostly just need competent quarterback play. Easier said than done. I don't think White or Wilson are the answer.

Never watched the kid in college, but going by what I've seen from him in the NFL, it appears that he can't play within the structure of the offense. His instinct is to bold from the pocket early and go for the home run ball. Very reminiscent of Russell Wilson, so yes, old Pete would probably be perfect for him.

Trey is not getting traded. I wish people would stop with that. It's why I stayed away from the Trey Lance thread. Just makes me want to bang my head against the wall. They traded 3 1st RD picks and took him at #3, They aren't giving up on him until they actually see the finished product. Plus he is cheap for the next 2 years. Trey has started 4 games in his young career so far. And he is still only 22.

Saleh isn't getting fired (at least not this offseason). The team has shown improvement overall. Jimmy G will likely be their starting QB next year.

These are my thoughts as well. Before he was injured, I felt he was playing his way onto their roster,
and a nice payday. I still see him going to the Jets, just at a slightly lower price
