Why does DamagedRus hate the 49ers so much? They just had to win 11-10. Then he is trying hard to get The Seahawks the number 1 pick. At least Denver didn't sign him to a huge contract before he played a game.

in hindsight, all wilson really did was scramble drill -> find a deep guy when coverage breaks down, rinse and repeat.

Now that he lacks his old athletic ability he is nothing

It's schedule and timing and injuries, too.....no way Chicago, Denver, or Atlanta could beat SF now, but that's all moot.

Hard to think of any outside of injury......the two that somewhat come to mind (but really aren't the same scenario because it wasn't quite the cliff) are Donovan McNabb and Cam Newton. Daunte Culpepper declined from injury, IIRC.

I'd disagree with you there....but regardless....would you have said that 4 months ago? He was considered at min. a top 5 type QB, and Denver were thought of as a legit SB team. Wilson is basically a bottom 5 guy now.
