The guy had CPR on the field and was defibrillated. This is NOT a normal stretcher injury.

Tweet in this thread about the ambulance waiting for his Moms really F'd me up.
When I was 13 years old, a freak head injury while rushing the QB sent me to the hospital.
The doctor that stitched my head wound made the wrong decision, as the injury was caused
by my teammates' teeth. I went home thinking all was good.
When I awakened the next morning, one side of my face was so swollen, I couldn't open my eye,
and a smelly residue was weeping out of the other one. What I remember most, was the doctor
telling my mother that if she hadn't returned me to the emergency room I would've been dead
within 45 minutes.
It took 6 days of intensive care: 2 pills every 6 hours, and injections every 6 hours in my a## for
6 days before I was released
