Mack at running back can only help our attack. Get us back on track

You sure you are not coming wack about him picking up the slack?

Who you calling wack, Jack? What the frack

So much haiku potential, hope he sticks
Doubt Wilson will be the only RB to get any carries this Sunday, TDP and or Mason better show something..

I mean, there's a reason this guy was not on anyone's active roster.

It's needed...I just hate that it's week 2 and this team is signing guys on the couch at a position the offense is predicated on.

The misfires at this position (Sermon) are haunting us right now.

Boo hoo. 1 running back down already due to injury. Obviously the position needs another body now. So let's cry that they're signing someone off the couch. What would you suggest arm chair GM? People on here just to complain I swear. By the way RB is a position every offense is predicated on. So what point are you actually trying to make other than just complaining? Really, what do you want them to do at this point?

"Obviously the position needs another body now. So let's cry that they're signing someone off the couch.":
I said "it's needed". No one's questioning that.

"What would you suggest armchair GM?":
I think many of us would have suggested to have a better plan/tandem in place knowing that Eli Mitchell, despite being very talented, already showed that he was fragile and naturally would be a complete liability to start. The concern is that Sermon was cut loose and TDP was a healthy scratch when they drafted him in the third round.

"RB is a position every offense is predicated on":
Not true. Every offense has a running back, but as clearly shown by the lack of drafting in the first round(s), most offenses are more predicated on QB and the passing game now vs San Francisco's.

I think I'm allowed to voice an opinion. It's a message board for f**k's sake. I just expressed that it's problematic that they're scraping the barrel for running backs in week 2.

Durability was a known concern for Mitchell. To have Jeff Wilson coming off a major injury (and not that great to begin with) and two unproven rookies as your backup plan was a bit short sighted.

Mason might not be all the HYPE..

If Sermon was good enough, they wouldn't have drafted TDP and then kept Mason over him..

Well now they pick up Mack even though they have Mason and TDP behind Wilson.. could be just a move to add depth since Mitchell is gone for 2 weeks..
We'll see for sure this Sunday if Mason and TDP plays if these 2 rooks are any good at all since Mitchell did well as a rookie and contributed greatly to a deep playoff run last season as RB1.

Sadly mitchell is gone 2 months. 2 weeks would be lovely.

He was averaging 6.8 yards a carry also. The game could have been so different.

That's the frustrating part. He's only year 2 and the talent there is undeniable. He always finds positive yardage and runs hard. But man, he can't stay healthy--I guess that's why he fits in so well on this team.
WHY sign another RB??

Do we not already have:

Price
Mason
Wilson
Deevah

How is Mack gonna help? a play here and there ??

Would not be surprise if his # is called for an easy TD so that the signing can look legit.

Because of injuries, it would be dumb to not sign a RB to the PS, and we don't need Deebo running 10+ times a game, especially up the middle.

NONSENSE !!!

We gave Deevah the money he wanted.. if he has to run 11x a game ESPECIALLY UP THE MIDDLE in order for us to win, THEN WHY HOLD BACK ??

you want to keep the BEST GADGET in the NFL from running 11x so that he can be healthy at home come January ??

DUDE!!! You think like KS10 !!!
EVEN. IF. GIREEEEE

If Wilson and Mason don't get it done, it wouldn't be long for Mack to lead the pack.
