Sorry but Allen doesn't get a pass for this awful performance in a game they were favored to win at HIS HOUSE with the WHOLE HAMLIN STORY AND REST OF THE COUNTRY BEHIND THEM. Even the refs tried to help them by ruling a Chase TD an incomplete pass.

His team was favored to win the super bowl and him to be the MVP and he has failed to live up to expectations.

I don't see him getting over the hump especially with that elbow injury that he is refusing to get surgery on. I expect him to suffer a major injury in the next couple years that basically ends his shot at a super bowl with the way he just runs at any defenders.

I believe their window is closing. Von Miller is only getting older and has a big contract. That OL is not good enough to beat good teams. I believe Edmunds and Poyer are FAs and are among their best defenders and I think they're up against the cap.

They need another weapon on offense. They can still be a SB contender ala KC if they draft well, but there will have to be concessions made with the roster. I think they should evaluate if Dorsey is good enough OC as Daboll was missed (in terms of limiting Allen's weaknesses).

It's time to have a conversation about Josh Allen's playoff failures, and how the media and casual fans pushed the "best QB in football" narrative when it was far from deserved. Since everyone loves the QB record stat, here we go. Josh Allen is 4-4 in his three playoff appearances, and during that time he has had the #1, #2, and #2 ranked defenses.

The idea that Josh Allen is the best QB in football is laughable. He is very good, but turns the ball over far too much.

It goes Mahomes/Burrow in a tier all by themselves, then Allen is at the top of the next tier with Herbert, Lamar, Lawrence, etc.
Josh Allen has had his bad moments for sure....but he is still there with Mahomes in that top echelon of QB's. He has to carry as much on himself as practically any other QB, which I think goes hand in hand with his turnovers, and will be a legit MVP candidate for the next decade.

Right. Even as their own team (assuming that is the 49ers) is currently in the middle of climbing that mountain.
Trading away your best WR from the team. How does that help exactly?

Diggs most likely was locker room cancer

Wouldn't be surprised if they try to trade for BA before the draft…

Allen and Aiyuk would be a lethal combo.
And since Aiyuk wants to be paid, send him to sunny Buffalo. Where he gets paid to play in blizzard conditions.

I was saying this when they lost Gabe Davis. Makes even more sense now

this right here is an incompletion, maybe would have beat KC and changed NFL history as we know it

some info from online:

In "The Xs and Os" with Greg Cosell this week, while previewing all the divisional round games, Greg made the point (which he's made before) that Buffalo Bills receiver Stefon Diggs is not the deep target he used to be.

That played out in a highly unfortunate way for the Bills in their 27-24 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night.

With 8:23 left in the game, and the score 27-24 in favor of Kansas City, Josh Allen threw an absolute howitzer of a deep ball to Diggs, who had beaten safety Justin Reid on an inside release vertical route up the numbers. Diggs did have to slow down a tick as the ball came down, but the ball was right in his hands at the Kansas City 28-yard line – that's a 60ish-yard throw, since Allen threw it from his own 12-yard line – and all Diggs had to do was reach out and catch the thing.

Which he didn't.

I was saying more than what aj brown was traded for.

AJ Brown was traded for a first and third from the titans to the Eagles and that should be the comparable value. Same age during the trade and Aiyuk played better Aj brown had 105 targets his last year with the titans for 63 catches and 869 yards Aiyuk had 105 targets and had 75 catches for 1342 yard lol
Window all but shut now.
Allen had his chances in the playoffs and blew it almost every single time.
