Won't be surprised by this at all. And then they bring back OBJ

For the 49ers, I'd offer Mitchell, Kinlaw, and maybe a 4th or 5th future pick if thats needed. Two pieces that could help them in their rebuild. We won't need Mitchell if we have McCaffrey. If all else fails, lets offer Kittle. Kittle is always injured and he's so overpaid right now for what he does for this offense, essentially blocking an a few catches, if that, per game.

I highly doubt any team would want to trade their most valuable asset for our damaged goods.

Their most valuable asset is damaged goods as well. Our damaged goods brings assets to other positions on their team when they are healthy.

Trade for Grady Jarrett, not McCaffrey.

I'd be super happy with that one too. Jarrett on this defense would be even filthier.

This. While I think we can hold on on the interior, I think the goal was to be dominant. Came into the league the same year as AA an d can fulfill that role they were looking for from Kinlaw.

People complaining about Kittle/BA and Deebo (at times) not getting the ball enough…now you want CMC too lol?

how about we stop burning valuable picks for RBs when SF can toss out guys like Wilson/Mitchell for nothing and have great results?

It's fun to think about what Kyle could do it, but imo we could use those assets for something we need more imo
Agreed. If we go for the trade, I'm looking at a corner (Horn). Butif something reasonable can be worked out for McCaffrey, go for it.
Thinking about CMC in shannys offense

I don't think their young D assets are on the table

I wanted Derrick Brown but that price tag may be ridiclous as well.
I'm sure we'll do our due dilligence
If CMC comes at a reasonable price he could be the missing piece to rest the D and take that last step. If the Niners keep Mitchell and Wilson CMC will not be burned out. Shanahan goes way back with this player, to when he was a kid in the Broncos locker room. Coach Parcells used to have "His Guys", CMC is definitely one of Shanahan's guys.

You think it's a good idea to trade multiple 1sts, or even one 1st for an injury prone RB?
I don't know if this is gamesmanship on the part of David Tepper and the Panthers' GM or if they're serious.
However, this quote rings true to me:

"While the Panthers did receive many calls, sources say the team won't hold a fire sale.
With a talented roster that still needs a quarterback for the future, Carolina won't be dumping
its talented players for several reasons -- with one being it would like to attract a top-notch
coach with its talent"

No Fire Sale Expected
