But I am wondering what CMC can do I Kyle's offense. Kyle never had that RB with dynamic receiving and YAC ability. That has always been the missing piece. We have the dynamic TE in Kittle, the WR/RB combo in Deebo, the do it all FB in Juice, but never that scary RB dynamic receiver coming out of the back field.

Our best receiving RB during Kyle's regime has been Jeff Wilson and Tevon Coleman, but they aren't remotely close to what CMC is. Jerrick McKinnon was supposed to be that guy but that was never materialized.

So you're saying there's a chance?

With Carolina's coach now on the unemployment line, there's talk about a fire sale. McCaffery has been linked to the Niners, and he would be awesome. However, I have my eye on Brian Burns, we have a great D but he would make it greater.

And we have posters moaning that we have the most injuries in the NFL, and you guys want to give up significant assets, probably in the form of high draft picks, to pick up this guy and his $64 million contract.

No.

Our winning formula has been "Injury prone and dirt cheap",....not "injury prone and unaffordable."

If anything, you only see contending teams take on hefty contracts like that when it's in the final year of the deal.

There is no reason whatsoever to mentally waste any injury dreaming up this one.

I bet, and this is just a theory, that CMC would be "less injured" if he were in a winning situation.

I think we'd be superbowl front runners for sure if we got CMC. Imagine him with Deebo, Kittle, Aiyuk, Juice, Mitchell when he gets back....But we don't ever do stuff like that. That move is for the Rams unfortunately

CMC has a very ugly contract, especially for a guy that has recent health issues. Unless CAR has OL/DT/CB depth, no need to call them.

we all know if our run game starts sputtering, jimmy is not going to save us. We need game changing backs

pretty much what I feel... if the intent is to win now, getting Jimmy CMC would be the ultimate safety blanket... working out the logistics to get him here sounds like a nightmare though

Oh my! That's such a "NOT SEXY" type of pick! But I like it!

Are you referring to the Balko tweet? Because apparently he's a Saints reporter and he's often full of it.
Guaranteed we will make a trade. 100.
it will be a similar trade to the Omenihu deal last year
