He's also on a terrible team with terrible coaching
And that's the root of the problem.
I'm an Ohio State fan, rooting for Fields to succeed, and as someone who worked Sunday (thankfully actually seeing as how I was off 6 weeks with a broken ankle), I didn't watch Fields. Maybe wouldn't have anyway as I don't know if that game was on here or not.
But I saw a tweet that said Fields still isn't the problem. That isn't to saying he's the answer but the person who tweeted it said it was like there was no game plan, terrible coaching, terrible defense, terrible offensive line.
For all we know we might be talking about how bad Trevor Lawrence is and how he's a bust if they wouldn't have gotten a good coach in Pederson.
Not to say that Fields should be given a pass. But I looked at the stats and who caught passes and it's still like, "Um, who?" I mean I know I names but I don't think many/any of them keep defensive coordinators up at night. Moore was a decent addition from Carolina.
