So when he plays zone and a WR gets underneath his zone wide open ..... who cares ?

when he dropped that INT , he let the WR get under the zone , WR was open for a first down but Pickett under pressure under threw it (that's why Warner almost got an INT because he was behind the WR ) .

Warner doesn't get credit for an off target throw by Pickett . The defender putting the pressure on Pickett does .
uh thats a LB job when playing coverage and allow a tight window and not allow the WR above him.

Are they evaluating him as a corner because that might be the issue in their formula

What I'm saying is , we see real time playing and the results. PFF is seeing the whole field and evaluating every player every play in slow motion for the whole game .

I don't know how they scored that play , but if Picket was on target and he catches it's a 3rd down conversion and it was Warners guy .

edit : just saw your edit , I was just making an example of
how what we see is great but the film review might be other wise . (That play I mentioned might not be the best )

fwiw, I forgot where I read this but they had stats of players catching in Warners coverage zones as 4/6 for a total of 67 yards.... If I can find it I will post it.
So far, this dude hasn't shown he can play long-term in this league. A lot of it could be the situation he is in, i.e.. terrible coaching, crappy organization. But he still has to show something in the passing game to show he can sustain in this league, and so far he hasn't. Not sure if he ever will either.

there we go lol...
There's a part of me that would take him as a backup if he washes out in Chicago. But Kyle doesn't want him.

Fields > Lance.

The title of this thread should be changed to read the following: "Justin Fields and his Chicago Bears, SUCK."

Also, SanDiego49er should be reminded repeatedly about the statement above.
Part of the reason I didn't like fields is really showing today bad footwork and he holds on to the ball too long

His OL is giving him plenty of time but he's holding on to the ball forever

People really tried to blame his inability to see the field on his college scheme. Dude is buns.
Worst starting QB in the league
But let's wait and see what his PFF was

FYI Zach Wilson is starting for the Jets.
He is terrible. All the physical talent in the world cant make up for no awareness.
