i can't believe we lost to him.. lol makes me sick

We didn't Trey did

No one knows for sure. Its all just conjecture until Lance actually gets enough playing time to show what he is.

Are we still making believe that TL is good SWH? I'd take Fields 10 days out of 10 over Lance. Fields at least can do something high level.

Show me one single post where I have ever said that Lance is good. Just one. I'll wait.

Why are you saying make it stop, like TL was some asset week 1 vs CHI, he wasn't, he struggled hard, and was a big reason we lost, you still can't see it

I didnt say Trey "was some asset." You constantly misinterpret posts (whether intentionally or not), misrepresent what is said, and flat out make things up.

There are a plethora of reasons why we lost that game to the Bears. That poster making it seem like it was all Trey (and you essentially agreeing with him), shows your bias and nothing more.

I just said he was 'a big reason we lost', and you interpret as 'it was all Trey'... see the bold

Stop playing this game. I pushed back on a post that said "we didnt lose, Trey did" and you backed the poster I pushed back on. You arent fooling anyone.

I never once said Trey played good or wasnt ONE of the reasons we lost. Not one time did I do that.

We're in the end game of Fields tenure in Chicago. He's in self-preservation mode, deflecting all blame and criticism of his poor play onto coaching.

As long as he can still run and use his legs, he'll always have an opportunity to start somewhere in this league. IMO, I don't think he will ever reach his potential and develop into a competent passer.
I've got to see this press conference.

Yup. I can't see Trey getting an opportunity for 27 starts. It isn't happening in Dallas.

I agree. Ppl with the logic of well we can't judge, cuz he hasn't played, pretty silly imo. Apply that to Carmazzi or Druckenmiller also. In my view, if you suck so hard NFL teams don't allow you to see the field, you are a bust. KS made a judgement, traded him to a top rival of ours. That says a lot to me.

If we go back to Martz, ppl were laughing at him, he seemingly nailed it, no doubt on Lance, but also maybe here on Fields. I always thought it was a lil arrogant for ppl to mock a dude who coached 40 years, like he doesn't know football. He was way ahead of the curve of most ppl on these two QBs..
People laugh at Martz because he says the exact same thing about running QBs. Its not that he identified some deficiencies in Lance and Fields that he should be applauded for (like you are doing). He literally says the exact same thing about all QBs who can run. He said it about Lance and Fields. He said it about Jalen Hurts. He said it about Lamar Jackson.

Here is his quote on Lamar:
"I don't know how good (at) processing things and that's the key, how quick you can process, read and react,"

Sound familiar? The NFL game has passed him by and any QB who doesnt fit the mold of a 1990s QB he literally says the same thing about. Its almost as if he is reading a script. THAT is why we ignore Martz and laugh.

Love this quote. The reality is, you can say the right thing for the wring reason. There were critiques that had no basis in film study and on the field performance and others that did.

We gonna keep pretending he was wrong, even tho he was right? Oh boyyy..

He said TL can't run well (true), slow to throw (true), needs to really set himself to deliver the football (true) kinda hopeless on offense (true, look at JTO and his turndowns) when receivers are open, and the ball is not coming out, that's hopeless in my book.. why bother even running a great route, if you don't get the ball over and over when doing so.. DJ Moore knows this by now, he's open every play, and no football, that's a big problem. Moore feels hopeless, so do CHI fans, coaches, you name it.
