He's so bad at reading the field and processing. 90% of his big plays come off schedule and running for yards. It's just backyard childhood football. Actually reading a defense he is not great at.

And that's why you have your offense go through that process. It rarely works, but if it does...

I guess... Idk what I would do if I'm the Bears GM. OL is a mess. Very rarely is a young QB gonna be successful under a bad OL. Defense still needs a lot of work, and they can definitely use another weapon or two on offense. Idk if I'm the Bears I probably trade down and try and get more picks. Or if Marvin lands to them, they should take him and they can have the best one two WR duo in the NFL.

QB classes are now very deep in the NFL, every year now it seems there's some can't miss prospect.

Trade down, draft BPA, have another good offseason and see if Fields can get better if not, trade, FA, or draft that next QB the following season when the team will be better all around

Think is you aren't seeing any development from the pocket with Fields. Lamar progressed year after year in terms of throwing from the pocket. If i'm the Bears I'm trading Fields

I would trade the pick and somehow get Marvin Harrison.

You can't take a WR 1st overall. So if the Bears are not drafting a QB they need to trade the pick to a team who needs a QB and get a haul. And try to keep yourself in the top 5. Pats and Commanders will have the #2 and #3 pick and both need a QB. Especially the Pats.
