It definitely could mean that. There's also a chance that they evaluate the top QB prospects and aren't convinced one is worth taking. Seems incredibly unlikely though.

We are all assuming Caleb Williams will be #1 but Jayden Daniel's is a very intriguing prospect.

all jokes aside - I was shocked at how great of a year Daniels had at LSU. I didn't hear much about him all year but balled outta control. 50 touchdowns, almost 5k yards, 72% completion. 4 turnovers. Hell of a year in a tough conference.

Never watched a single game. I might check out the QBs coming in prior to the draft though.

but back to reality, this just adds to Trey Lance's legacy and proves he's a winner.
