If we look at the QB carousel,
we see that carousel is a very weird spelled word,
we also see only DEN does not have a QB

I presume WAS and CHI draft QBs, and DEN will likely do so as well

Was just lined up a somewhat playable backup… so no need for Fields there.
It feels like he's a viking or bronco.

Yea I don't Sean Payton is signing up for an athlete who can't play the position, and the Vikings signed Darnold for 10 million.

That was my point, I see only DEN, and they will likely draft anyway
hard for me to see him in DEN, teams tend to go away from what didn't work, that they just had. Russ holds the ball and goes scramble mode all the time. Hard to think Sean P would sign up for more of that.

He can stay as a backup in Chicago, or the Bears can lower their price and trade him after the draft.

He would be wise to learn from Baker and Darnold, be a team first guy wherever you go, and be ready for that next chance. He's clearly a talented dude, I had a blast watching his 2022 season. Human highlight reel. But he seems to lack maturity. He literally had a presser this year where he said he's gonna have to stop listening to coaches and start going into eff you mode, something to that effect.. I paraphrase..

Everyone was wrong on that draft class; even Trevor hasn't lived up to the hype imo

I remember towards the end of the process feeling that all of them were overrated except for Trevor Lawrence. While he's definitely been the best, he's been relatively underwhelming compared to the hype he had coming out. Although, I would bet on him breaking out if he were paired up with someone like a Sean McVay after Stafford retires. I could see it happening.

No faith at all in Mac, Trey or Fields finding success. All of them are doo doo.

And yet in College it looked as though you could see his footprints in the sand clear over to Canton. It shows how difficult it is to make pre draft assessments.

Yeah at the QB position, it's not simply a skills projection, like other positions are more along the lines of. It's a leadership role, a face of the franchise role, you have to relate to and have the guys look up to you and respect you, while at the same time driving those guys, telling them what you want on routes, what you want on protections, etc. So you gotta be able to play, and also have the mental and emotional and social traits. I think with the NFL teams simply see that Zach Wilson can shoot it and move well, which he can, and that gets him 2 overall. Yet he has thrown teammates under the bus to media, he doesn't process well pre or post snap, the game moves to fast, he doesn't command respect of anyone, on contrary he seems to be abrasive and teammates don't like him much. So while he may be able to sling a ball in shorts on pro day, he's not even really a QB2 in the NFL, not even a backup, as NYJ found out he bombed as backup last season.

This is why you don't want to draft QB ultra high and ask that guy to save your club, fix your other issues first, and get a Jordan Love or Lamar Jackson at the end of round 1. Aaron Rodgers there also, we took Smith over Rodgers, Carolina Bryce over Stroud, happens all the time folks. No thanks to Caleb. He can sling it, is he a leader?

Yeah I think JJ or Bo is a bronco or viking. Possibly LV to battle with Minshew. Maybe the Patriots if they decide they want MHJ and get fields for a 3rd or 4th and build around that. But yikes it's thinning up.

So glad we traded Trey when we didn't got some value out of him.
