Some of the long seconds of scrambling around he does in College he won't have time for in the pros. So I'm not certain how it will translate. I don't think he will be as good as Mahomes. But there are some similarities there which are hard to miss."

Early on I did say that. After more of watching him and breaking down the film he's a fumble machine. Plays good off schedule. Not as great on schedule as claimed. Not Mahomes. Not even close.

His ops to be a starter aren't over like they are for mac (outside of injury). Steelers are a top notch organization with an excellent coach. It's a great spot for him to just work on becoming a better qb. Learn from a vet. He will get a chance again.

The Steelers aren't exactly known for developing young QBs and Fields has alot of issues to work on and Tomlins pretty overrated in my opinion.
