A lot of sports media was acting like it was a hard decision to make for the Bears. Keep Fields or Draft a QB with #1. The Bears couldn't even get a pick in this years draft for Fields. Steelers now got a QB room that includes Fields who apparently no one other then the Steelers wanted and Wilson who the Broncos are paying 38 million this year and still released him lol. I wouldn't feel to confident if I was a fan. It looks like another mediocre .500 year for them.

They always seem to slop their way into playoff contention… but they'll need a new QB sooner than later.

lol! Even the scouts didn't get it right. Wether you're a Wilson,Lance, Fields, Jones fan during that class, all of them was a flop and a waste of a high draft pick.

The sports media and the excuses for Fields lack of success is comical. There is a reason no one offered up anything significant for Fields, and the Bears were stuck taking a s**t pick for him. This makes me more impressed that we were able to fleece a 4th out of Dallas for Lance

Same. I also like Maye and Penix. Unfortunately i think I would like Daniels better with Van Pelt in NE and Maye more with Klingsbury in Washington. Though they are likely to be on the opposite teams that I like them on. If Penix goes to a team like the Vikings I would even say he has a chance.

I'm not saying I don't like Caleb, I'm not putting him in the Trey Lance Category. I just don't see him as this next great thing. When I watch him I see him bailing way too often.

Williams had very little talent at receiver last year. He had one really good receiver during his time at USC. Scouts and GMs look at his arm talent and ability to extend plays and they see a potential Mahomes type. It's a stretch to think he'll be that good but he may well be just a notch below if he gets with the right team. That's always a big part of any rookie's success.
