Until you really need one.
Then you better hope you are in a financial position to actually pay for one.

It's okay. All of it is scripted

Hell, I extracted three of my pals' teeth, filled two cavities, and grafted a cap on to an incisor using YouTube. Also made my own anesthetic.

I don't know man it's possible. But that line from Shannon saying Skip had to explain himself to the bosses. Seems like the bosses fed him some b******t. Dude was a no show yesterday and I'm sure that's when they fed him.

Per Jordon and Damar's family, doctors overnight got promising readings that they had been hoping to see by this morning. Jordon couldn't go into specifics, but progress appears to be made.Damar is still sedated and in critical condition in the ICU.
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) January 4, 2023Jordon also clarified (on behalf of the family) that there may have been some miscommunications in terms of the number of times Damar Hamlin was resuscitated. There was only one instance at Paycor Stadium.
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) January 4, 2023Will have much more on @espn throughout the morning/day. (We recorded an interview) But two other comments to look for from him: Damar's father is among those calling for any criticisms of Bengals WR Tee Higgins (who was part of the play Damar was injured on) to STOP.
— Coley Harvey (@ColeyHarvey) January 4, 2023
Who the hell is criticizing Tee Higgins? That's a serious dick move because I'm sure he feels guilty enough as it is even though it was just a standard football play and really horrible luck that had not a thing to do with him.
Zac Taylor said when he walked over to Sean McDermott, the Bills coach said: I need to be at the hospital with Damar. I shouldn't be coaching this game.

Wow.
Damar remains in the ICU in critical condition with signs of improvement noted yesterday and overnight.

He is expected to remain under intensive care as his health care team continues to monitor and treat him.

KNBR just had a cardiologist from San Jose come on and explain in detail what happened to Hamlin. It sounds like this was a very rare thing and even more so with football.
To begin with, it was cardiac arrest, not a heart attack. He explained the difference between the 2 but I won't go into that part. He explained that the chest would need to be struck in precisely the right spot at the right time when the heart is between beats. That's what caused the heart to go into arrest. It throws it out of rhythm or stops it between beats.
He said it would be much more likely to happen if a person was struck by a small object traveling at high speed like a baseball or hockey puck. That would provide a more concentrated blow to a small area. The likelihood of a shoulder pad or even a helmet causing this would be astronomical. That's why we've never seen this before even with all the hard hits in football. He went on to say that the probability of recovery depends lot on how long it was before they were able to restore his vital signs on field since the brain was deprived of oxygen during that time
Just a side note. I was talking to my next door neighbor who is a retired doctor and he said this happened to his grand daughter when she was struck in the right spot by a kite. Yes I said kite. I guess it came down at a fast speed and the wooden part hit her in the chest. Fortunately she was with her father who's also a doctor so he administered CPR right away. She made a full recovery after a short stay in the hospital.
This shows that it's not a safety issue. There's really no way they could protect against this short of banning tackling. It's freaky bad luck.
