Until you really need one.

Then you better hope you are in a financial position to actually pay for one.

You don't need a real lawyer , just watch the movie My Cousin Vinny

This is solid advice. Also Boston Legal, Better Call Saul and The Good Wife.

Hell, I extracted three of my pals' teeth, filled two cavities, and grafted a cap on to an incisor using YouTube. Also made my own anesthetic.

I don't know man it's possible. But that line from Shannon saying Skip had to explain himself to the bosses. Seems like the bosses fed him some b******t. Dude was a no show yesterday and I'm sure that's when they fed him.

Written by a lawyer and even taught in some law schools when discussing trial procedure.

I guess if you get stopped in the south and are jammed up with murder charges, its better than nothing, especially if you have a public defender that can't stop stuttering.

Who the hell is criticizing Tee Higgins? That's a serious dick move because I'm sure he feels guilty enough as it is even though it was just a standard football play and really horrible luck that had not a thing to do with him.

Almost as dumb as blaming the vaccine.
KNBR just had a cardiologist from San Jose come on and explain in detail what happened to Hamlin. It sounds like this was a very rare thing and even more so with football.

To begin with, it was cardiac arrest, not a heart attack. He explained the difference between the 2 but I won't go into that part. He explained that the chest would need to be struck in precisely the right spot at the right time when the heart is between beats. That's what caused the heart to go into arrest. It throws it out of rhythm or stops it between beats.

He said it would be much more likely to happen if a person was struck by a small object traveling at high speed like a baseball or hockey puck. That would provide a more concentrated blow to a small area. The likelihood of a shoulder pad or even a helmet causing this would be astronomical. That's why we've never seen this before even with all the hard hits in football. He went on to say that the probability of recovery depends lot on how long it was before they were able to restore his vital signs on field since the brain was deprived of oxygen during that time

Just a side note. I was talking to my next door neighbor who is a retired doctor and he said this happened to his grand daughter when she was struck in the right spot by a kite. Yes I said kite. I guess it came down at a fast speed and the wooden part hit her in the chest. Fortunately she was with her father who's also a doctor so he administered CPR right away. She made a full recovery after a short stay in the hospital.

This shows that it's not a safety issue. There's really no way they could protect against this short of banning tackling. It's freaky bad luck.

That could do it. Remember in the Karate Kid, Mr. Miagi told Daniel to focus his punching power into one square inch.
