I'm on record saying Carr would get his bag and D Jones would also get his bag. Haven't seen this confirmed any link to the exact deets.

Winston also gonna be cut lol

Who is that GM? Owner bowl cut is out to lunch. Don't tell me McDaniels is running that franchise, although that may explain things.

I think it's a guy McD brought with him from NE. So yeah I do think that McD is essentially running things lol.
I don't understand how Carr can be negotiating with the Saints before March 13. That's supposed to be the date when agents can contact teams. That's still a week away. March 13-15 is called the legal tampering period.

New league year doesn't apply to players that were released.

The Raiders cut him, so he's a free agent, free to sign with whomever he wants.

Other guys (who have expiring contracts) are still under contract until the new league year begins.

Okay. Thanks. I didn't realize that.

Right, it's an unusual situation.

Despite what folks think about his abilty as a QB, Carr played the Raiders, who thought they were playing him

37 mil APY that's f**king stupid
He'll have playmakers and a very good defense. And weak division. Anything less than playoffs would be a failure.

Remember when we signed JG
"biggest deal in NFL history on a average-per-year basis."

$27m per year. Which now looks like chump change. Game moves fast. Real FQBs looking at $60m+ most likely. Lamar's deal will be telling, if he gets one (he may get tagged).

Burrow and company gonna get $50+ mil. Daniel Jones was apparently asking for $48 mil. QBs are more expensive than ever.
Saints were over the cap and able to sign a player to a $150 Million dollar contract. So the Cap shouldn't be an issue for us.
