Richard Sherman said you can't make that call at that point in the Super Bowl. He's right too. It was a BS call. Wrong call. Let them play out. It was very minor. Not worthy of being called at that point.

Why have rules if there are conditions under which you enforce them or not which are purely subjective? Inconsistently enforcing the rules of the game is what feeds the yearly "X game was rigged" conspiracies rampant in every fanbase. The players should be able to expect consistent conditions under which they are expected to do their jobs, not rules conditional of how some people feel about the importance of the game being played unless of course that is being clearly conveyed to each team prior to the contest.

Did they call those calls for us in the Super Bowl? See videos above.

And your point is ?

Different standards for different teams. Especially if their is a Golden Team (KC) and Golden Boy (Mahomes) involved. The face of the NFL marketing plan (Mahomes, Reid, KC) won't be denied the best and most favorable calls. But others can not count on that.

I guess people on couches know more than Bradberry if it was a hold or not

He's taking the high road and good for him. Everyone knows that technically a grab of the jersey is a penalty, it's just a bad product to end the season on a split second touch that had no influence on the outcome of the play

No influence ? How do you measure that ?

1. Bradberrys movement
2. Smith-Schusters movement
3. My brain

If it were feelings I'd be behind the call since I'm happy with the eagles loss. I'm using logic

I just had to watch that again lol

there is clear contact with ball in the air, which is PI.. i never had an issue with the refs as I knew as more or less unwritten rule, you don't get that call in this moment, Super Bowl 57 said 'hold my beer..

That is precisely why Bradberry held. He "knew" that the refs wouldn't call it ("I was hoping they'd let it slide," or something to that effect). Players have been taking advantage of the fact that historically refs have b***hed out in crunch time of big games. But not Sunday.

It was Mahomes Sunday. If you watch the league. He gets all the calls.

Yeah it friggin sucks they chose to do it for Chiefs and not for us. Dammit
In one year eagles defense went from 31st to 1st in sacks, that's stupid. Hopefully they regress to the mean next year. Oh BTW both their coordinators are gone immediately after getting to SB.

Look. This silly argument that it "had no effect" on the WR is both unprovable (you don't know how his momentum might have increased without the pull) and also irrelevant, but even more important, it's a self-defeating argument. Why? Simple: if the hold had no effect, why did Bradbury decide to commit the penalty? He should have played it legally if his foul was going to have no effect. Blame the refs? No. Blame Bradbury for cheating when according to you all he had no need to cheat.
