Love that he has been in the upper tier of teams regarding blitz. With a fast defense I want our guys hitting the QB in the mouth and not giving him time to think.

Is that good? IDK? Obviously we have much more to work with here. So that should help him. But I don't think he was a super star where he was either. A lot of it is the talent you have. You work with what you have. Both good and bad.

Kyle at this point has more HC experience than both of them combined.
I know he does.. what I'm saying is its always helpful to have other coaches with experience in the room giving opinions and they way they see the game

I love the hire, Nice post Dshrean, this part seems more like a role for Jimmy Ward than Huf. He's expensive for a Nickel back, and he doesn't seem to want to do it, but he might find the market isn't there for him anyway.
Solid player but doesn't take the ball away and only ballhawk safeties make top dollar.

Hopefully his zone blitzes are structured well. That safety is key. He has to be able to cover and also blitz well, to screw up the opposing QBs reads. I also hope he can upgrade and develop DBs the way Kocurek develops DLinemen. Also, I'm wondering if he'll bring in some new Quality Control coaches that can possibly turn into good position coaches and eventually execellent defensive coordinators a la Demeco, at some point in the future.

Yeah..I don't think Kyle needs a HC mentor. Id just like another top notch or up and coming offensive mind.
