Shanny's decisions aren't very smart don't you think?
The dumbest decision was never letting him play and grow. You invest all that and setup a situation of him still dealing with Jimmy and not playing legit football for years! THEN make him QB1 and get 30 passing attempts? GTFO with that BS.
Kyle like a lot of fans have zero patience. Dude will turn on Brock just the same if he continues down this road.

Very interesting. One thing he mentioned that's gone through my head a little is Wilks being in the booth and not on the field. I always thought being in the booth would be better but that one-on-one with the players is missing. Demeco and Saleh would get fired up on the sidelines and greet his players as they came off the field which in turn would fire up the players. There was a higher level of energy that I think was contagious.

And if he needed to be coddled and couldn't deal with Jimmy or any other veteran QB being on the roster that's just another reason he should've never been drafted.

I feel like they're not playing hard for Wilks.

hard to say....we are seeing some real saves by individual effort....to me it seems more like they are not in the right place at the right time.
Teams are getting them out of position at will. In the run game they are getting gashed, missing tackles from odd angles and lets not even talk about pass defense... Burrow completed all but like 3 passes or some very low number.
With Wilks I think we all expect to be trading the Ra-Ra hype guy for the calm under fire mentor type.
What we actually have is a dude who week after week does not seem to have an answer to the challenges the other team presents.

Then consider this a lost year, because we aren't winning another game with that defense.
This.

He's turned a dominant defense into one that struggling offense WANT to play against.
We're a get-right team at this point.

This organization has zero guts to fire a DC midseason. We're not the Ravens. They fired an OC in DECEMBER and then won a Super Bowl against us two months later. Chiefs fired their DC after losing in OT in the AFC Championship and then won a Super Bowl against us a year later.
That's the difference between teams that win Super Bowls and teams that don't. Actually having a spine.
